Papers relating to the Minnesota State Union of the American Society of Equity, of which Whitaker was secretary-treasurer. Included are correspondence from Magnus Johnson, president of the organization, and from F. A. S. Price, chairman of its national packing house committee; a volume listing officers and members of local Minnesota society groups (1907-1918); and some correspondence and clippings (1914-1916) relating to allegations that the J.B. Kirk Company, a South St. Paul livestock commission firm, was illegally rebating the American Society of Equity.
